This Long Reception Table in the Sand is Destination Wedding Goals

Destination Wedding Editorial

The wonderful and overwhelming part of planning a destination wedding is choosing where in the world to go! Design team Crosby + Jon are here to help—always on the hunt for the next great location to say your “I do’s,” they uncovered the dreamiest resort for a postcard-worthy ceremony. Beachside views? You bet. Luxury details? Of course! Here’s more from Crosby + Jon about the inspiration behind their destination wedding shoot:

In our never-ending search for up and coming wedding destinations, we found ourselves exploring the latest gem along Mexico’s Baja Peninsula: Grand Velas Los Cabos. Modern architecture, lavish landscapes, and inviting interiors were complete with a panoramic view of the Sea of Cortez. Upon our first visit to the resort, we knew we had stumbled upon a beacon of modern luxury. From the Frida rehearsal dinner to the luxuriously bohemian ceremony and reception, each event flowed flawlessly with the help of our talented vendors.

Each and every intimate detail was captured on film by Jeremy Chou, renowned destination wedding photographer. Who else is a fan of film photography for the wedding day?! Let’s have a look at how it all unfolded:

A Luxe Rehearsal Dinner

The team planned an intimate rehearsal dinner at the property’s elegant restaurant, Frida. With the restaurant’s namesake Frida Kahlo in mind, the bride wore a beaded dress by Hayley Paige and adorned her hair with a vibrant flower crown.

The ceremony took place on a grassy lawn with a panoramic view of the ocean. A free-standing teepee frame marked the untraditional ceremony arbor, backdropped by a cactus garden with dreamy dessert hues!
