If you mixed Chip + Joanna’s style, with a little bit of Anthropologie, and some Free People aesthetic, you’d get Lauren + Miguel’s wedding! Sounds like a dream, right?! L+M’s home is replete with leather and wood accents, so when it came time to designing their wedding with Brannan Events & Design, it only made sense to incorporate those into the overall design!
A mix of pampas grass, terra cotta pots, and tons of blue hues rounded out their big day…the color palette is so striking, we simply can’t stop looking! And we have a feeling you won’t be able to either. Let’s take a peek at all the fabulous snaps from The Poffs at the Gardener Ranch in Carmel Valley!
The Details
How striking is this invitation suite Bower Bird Atelier crafted?!
The Florals
It was all about TEXTURE in the florals Tumbleweed Floral Truck designed. How darling are those black and white anemones + the playful pops of pampas grass?
The Wedding Party
Lookin’ so coastal yet regal in those shades of blue, ladies!!
As for Lauren’s gown? It’s by none other than Grace Loves Lace.
The Sweethearts
Hello, cuties!!
Lauren shares: If you are investing in a great photography & videographer, you should also invest in the very best vendors to trust with your hair and makeup. Kelly Jo made me feel & look so beautiful! And both my hair and makeup survived all day & all night, even with us jumping into the pool, without any touch-ups.
The Ceremony Space
Minimal yet cool—we ADORE the striking simplicity of this wooden backdrop by Simply Solid Designs, especially with the touch of florals!
Processional: Canon in D (Instrumental)
Recessional: Skipped
First Dance: All to Myself by Dan + Shay
The Ultimate Boho Lounge
I have a creative background so it was so much fun for me to get to meet vendors, like Lori from Revival Rental, who have similar styles as us and amazing collections that we were able to source from in order to really add the extra special touches. Lori created our whole lounge area, which was my surprise to Miguel. She did a beautiful job and he loved it!!
I highly recommend a wedding planner from start to finish. Elise took care of so much, which allowed us and our family to enjoy everything and not stress.
Try not to stress too much over seating charts. I highly recommend doing a first look. Stop and take in as many moments as you can. Have as much fun as possible!!
Our three dogs couldn’t attend but I wanted to make sure they were still there because they are a huge part of our life together, so we had a signature cocktail named after each one of them, along with the sweetest illustration on our cocktail menu.
All of it! Any moments Miguel and I got to be together: taking pictures, our time together at our sweetheart table, dancing, and ending the night jumping into the pool!
My mom’s speech was also extremely special to us. She did an amazing job and pretty much brought a tear to everyone’s eyes. I am incredibly thankful for The Poffs (our wedding photographer & videographer) and that they captured that moment so that we will have it forever, along with all the rest of our special moments that day.
The Reception
How perfect are these triangle blocks to display the escort cards!?

With our wedding being very close to Halloween, and with it being one of my favorite times of the year [fall in California], I wanted to add white & green pumpkins into our design, along with wild feathery pampas grass, and touches of color.
Tumbleweed Floral Truck nailed this look, don’t you think?!
If you love food and are looking forward to trying all of your appetizers, entrees, and dessert, I highly suggest ordering a separate box, or two, to be set aside for the end of the night or after for you to enjoy at your leisure. It was the best decision we made and were able to eat all of our desserts for the next couple of days.
What a DREAM! Congratulations, L+M!!

Bohemian is such a popular style for weddings. but many people do not understand the concept or know just how beautiful this style can be. I especially admire the illusion sleeves, small leg slit, and effortless style of the bridal gown.
Dreamy!!
