I’m super excited to announce that Green Wedding Shoes will be a part of THE CREAM in LA (formerly Hitched Event)! We had a blast at the first LA event and are super excited to be joining all the fun again this time around. This year’s event is going to be held at The Book Bindery in Culver City, CA on March 1, 2012 from 6-10pm. What is THE CREAM you ask? Well, it is organized by the super creative duo of Paige + Kelly of Bash, Please and it is not your typical wedding event. They curate the list of vendors to bring in the best, most creative wedding industry professionals and invite them to share their talents in an event that is more like a fun party, then traditional wedding event. The majority of the list of vendors is still a secret (they will be revealing the rest of the crop each day on their Twitter feed), but let me tell you, I saw the list and you won’t want to miss this event! Some of the crop have been revealed and include GWS faves such as: Twigs & Honey, Enjoy Events Co., Braedon Flynn, Ban.do, La Partie Events, Aaron Shintaku, Superfine Bakery, Casa De Perrin, The Flashdance and so many more to come! 
Oh, and did I mention that this year’s event will have a theme that all the crop will be inspired by – neon! Love it! We are currently brainstorming up some super fun ideas, DIYs and inspiration based off this rad board! Can’t wait to share our table + see what everyone else creates! We also have a pair of tickets to give away, so you can attend with your honey, bestie, mom/sister or whomever you’d like! I’m totally looking forward to meeting lots of you – that was one of my favorite parts of the first event! So, please say hi if you attend! So, when I was getting married I was Lucky enough to go to the hitched event in Palm Springs.It was amazing…I still talk about it! Now, my best friend is getting married and I would love to share this event with her. :)
It would mean so much for me to attend Cream as I’ve not been able to really “be a bride” through most of my planning process. Organizing a wedding from 3,000 miles away doesn’t leave much chance to spend time with parents, bmaids, or even get enough of my fiance! After getting engaged last October and spending 4 1/2 months of searching high & low for a wedding venue and dates – from California to New Hampshire – my fiance, Ricardo, and I finally signed, sealed and delivered the contract to our LA venue yesterday. We officially know our anniversary date – YAY! Now I only have six months to plan the rest – Yikes! The check-list addict in me would love to have a several birds-one stone kind of event to help me pull a Green Wedding Shoes-worty vision (the fun part!!) all together.
