Inspired by home grown eggs, neutral colors, and that time in between summer and fall foliage in California…we present you with today’s autumnal editorial! Rachael of Siren Floral Co. tells us: Our entire inspiration for this shoot was based on roadside magic that grows wild all-around where we live in Southern California. It was like it was calling to me every time I’d drive by it. The mixed color palette of rusty reds and soft creamy whites wouldn’t get out of my head, so I reached out to Trynh Photography and asked her to collaborate with her beautiful photography.
Once I had this color story, I started building on it conceptually. It became a sort of neutral summer-into-autumn feel and we brought more textural elements and details in. Let’s take a look…
The Gown

This one required several outfit changes, starting with this Free People number.

The Tablescape

Rachael shares: I’d been drying a fern variety in my studio for months and dreaming of doing an installation with it…so that got added to the shoot story! Then I realized that my sweet chicken’s eggs would be the perfect complement for our tablescape, so we threw those into the mix. :)

How gorgeous are all those subdued hues together?

This sweet + simple look was crafted with pieces from Witty Rentals.
