We recently ventured out to Palm Springs for a wonderful wedding at Colony 29. This wedding had ALL our favorite things: geometric shapes, acrylic signage and tons of desert beauty. Also, the couple is a stunner! We specifically love the alternative attire worn by our groom! Plus, confetti cannons and Jenga wars at the reception always make for a good time!

Vows at the Golden Gate Bridge

Carolyn met Doug while working together at a music streaming service company, it was there where they found out they share a love for French music. They continue to enjoy music, break a sweat in the great outdoors and seeking out new experiences together. They made Sausalito their home in 2018 and love the life they have built there.
May 4th was about celebrating their union with their family and friends, in the city they currently live. Both sisters officiated the ceremony while the boat-lined marina and Golden Gate Bridge draped the background, serving as our main design and alter.

This shot is from sunset at an Olowalu House wedding in Maui. A recent rainstorm had knocked down a bunch of plumeria flowers so we showered the newlyweds with them for this epic shot!

Coastal Getaway

Megan + Jon were married on May 4th in Bodega Bay at The Secret Garden. They wanted to take time from their cocktail hour to go on a mini adventure and take photos at Bodega Head, about 10 minutes from the venue. Wouldn’t you say it’s always worth it? I think so!

Super Blooming Design

I did a styled shoot recently inspired by the Super Bloom happening in March. I wanted to be creative and have some fun with it so I created a tablescape set up themed “Spring Fever” with funky, bright, fresh, 70s disco vibes. It was featured at La Piñata Party Rentals for a month in their showroom and I had so much fun creating the designs with some amazing vendors!

Joy in the Journey

L + J got married on top of the world. Well, it felt like it. With their immediate families and closest friends as their witnesses, they said “I do” at a private residence they found through VRBO. It was one of the ONLY houses on a long stretch of coastal gorgeous Highway 1 near Lucia, CA. It didn’t even have an address. The mile “driveway” was an experience I will never forget, and not for the faint of heart as it wound uphill with potholes and cliffs. But, so so worth it!

Planning by Hey! Party Collective
Along with La Rue Floral and Alp & Isle Photography, Hey! Party Collective hosted “Perspective: Art + Floral”, a fundraising event pairing fine artists with local florists. who created floral designs based on a select artwork. Proceeds benefitted the California Wildfire Relief Fund.
