Have you ever seen a rock ‘n’ roll-inspired beach wedding? Because we think those need to become more of a thing! Case in point, Katie + Chelsea’s moody rocker wedding at the Nest in Tulum, Mexico. Working with Madeline Sandlin of Finery Boutique, they transformed the tropical space into an edgy bohemian paradise.
The brides share a bit more about the inspiration: Rock ‘n’ Roll + bohemian was the vibe we wanted to create. We love Tulum and everything about it, we wanted to share that with our friends and family, but also have our wedding be about us in the place we call our second home.

Get an amazing wedding planner & photographer and the wedding will run perfectly. Also be sure to take a honeymoon right after wedding. It’s the only thing we regret not doing.

The Reception by the Beach
Isn’t this hang-out spot rad? Madeline Sandlin styled it with bohemian and modern elements, including: leather poufs, farm chairs, cowhide rugs, baskets of large bloom florals from Moni Junco, and candle light in every direction
Moody candle is oh-so dreamy, don’t you think? The reception was at their favorite restaurant Arca. Guests enjoyed a set menu of fresh fish, octopus, roasted vegetables and handmade pasta, all served family-style.
Our Favorite Memory
Most memorable moment of our wedding was being on the dance floor with all our loved ones!
