Perhaps the fairy tale movies often end at the alter, but we all know there’s a lot that goes into a relationship before getting to the “I Do’s.” It’s a journey of friendship, trust, understanding, and love—a journey worth celebrating just as much as the anticipation of what’s to come. For Will + Caity, the heart of their wedding was exactly that…heart! These two incorporated their own specific style into the day, but it was something far deeper that inspired their East Tennessee Wedding. Caity filled us in:
From the beginning of the planning process we always made sure to remind one another of how we wanted the day to feel and the “why” behind what we were planning. We wanted our wedding to be a reflection of our journey together, not just the destination, and we wanted our family and friends to be apart of that. After all, they were the community that shaped us and encouraged us along the way. We wanted all the details, big and small to feel like a reflection of our style (our “theme” was bohemian romance) and welcome our guests into that with us.
28 North Photography captured the details of the day…let’s jump in!
Don’t these rings just look meant to be together?? His is from LuxuriaJewelers and hers, from Honey Jewelry Co..
Just the perfect flourish from Amelia’s Flower Truck!
The Barn at Sycamore Farms provided a stunning backdrop for the day. Look at that tree!!
Processional: Piano Ballad written by the Groom
Recessional: Beautiful Day by U2
First Dance: Annie's Song by John Denver
Caity looked every bit the boho princess in her gown by Grace Loves Lace!
How good is this bridesmaid color story? The gals found their dresses at Forever21, Lulus and Tobi! We found a few of our favs, too:

DIY style made the day: from a macrame backdrop at the altar, to flower crowns and even a handmade tee-pee made by Caity!
Will looked smashing in Kenneth Cole Reaction and H&M, no?
Be true to yourself and remember why you are planning a wedding! A lot of details can distract you from the reasons why you started but remember to always keep those in mind! Also, don't be afraid to do things differently than industry "standards." Take chances, make it you, and be creative! And when the day finally comes, and everyone you love is in the same place together, take a look around and tell yourself, "Remember this moment."
Love these sweetheart seats!
There are so many moments to choose from! We'd have to say awesome dance party! Will is in the music industry and one of the most important details for him was to have a live band. And boy did we! The dance floor was packed all night and we LOVED it.
We’re always fans of the sparkler exit—yay! And for even more, Ivory and Iron captured the highlights + journey of the day:
So beautiful, right? All our love to Will + Caity!
