We can’t get enough of Annie + Alexander’s outdoorsy love story. After these two spent their very first date on a five-hour hike, Annie called her mom and reported that she’d met her future husband.
Turns out Annie was absolutely right!
Flash forward a little bit, and Annie and Alexander were planning an effortlessly elegant wedding at Santa Barbara Historical Museum. They teamed up with planners and event designers at Array Creative Design to highlight the color palette and vibe of their venue while adding an outdoor adventure flair that reflected the fun-loving yet laid-back parts of their personalities.
Modern, muted sunset tones like beachy neutrals and glowy pinks set the stage for their easy, romantic day and photographer Anna Delores was there to catch it all!
Paper goods from Swell Press set the tone for Annie + Alexander’s elevated-yet-effortless event. LOVING those tassel details.
Knot Just Flowers was responsible for the day’s floral creations. So into the warm and sunny colors in Annie’s bouquet.
Annie’s very first stop dress shopping was at The Dress Bride in downtown Santa Barbara, and she wasted absolutely no time finding the perfect gown for her. How stunning is the embroidery on this column silhouette dress by Made With Love Bridal?! We adore that sheer bodice and plunging neckline.
Also! Those earrings! Check out these similar gold-and-blue-stone beauties by Sylvia Toledano.
All pink for this bridal party palette! The mismatched silhouettes all in the same close color family give the overall look cohesion and character at the same time. Check out our rundown of the best rose gold bridesmaid dresses if you’re hoping to have your besties rocking rosier tones like Annie’s did.
Ranunculus and dahlias are all-time bridal bouquet MVPs.
The First Look
Annie + Alexander look so elegant against the rustic worn wood elements of this venue exterior.
Alexander’s classic blue suit came from Max Millan Bespoke.
Take a look at these blue suits from Indochino if you’re leaning towards something colorful suit-wise over something traditionally black.
The peachy pinks in this signage look so romantic wrapped in greenery.
These greenery-filled aisle arrangements paired with those blooming ceremony arch florals create a totally abundant boho WOW moment!

Annie’s mom officiated the ceremony, and she looked FAB while doing it! Take a peek at our list of great mother of the bride dresses for more mom-related inspo.
TEAM Hair & Makeup was behind Annie’s perfect half-up half-down waves and her glowy makeup look.

Our Advice To Those Planning Now
Do what YOU want. Take time to think about what is important to you. Don't negotiate on those items and be flexible on everything else.
Woven pendant lighting AND string lights?! Boho lighting perfection thanks to Bella Vista Designs.
This three-tiered masterpiece was made by Lelé Patisserie, and the fresh cake flowers add so much brightness and fun.
