Succulents For Your Wedding Day

succulent wedding inspiration

A big thank you to Janie of The Bride’s Cafe (which is such a lovely wedding blog if you aren’t familiar with her site) for sharing this gorgeous succulent inspired shoot today! All the floral designs are by Janie and the lovely photos (along with the fashion styling) is thanks to Amelia Johnson Photography. Hopefully you all saw our post this morning on succulents. Succulents, they are intriguing + organic + best of all, they are so beautiful! They can stand alone with little or no flowers accompanying them. If you are looking for a place to buy some of these organic beauties, be sure to check Fifty Flowers.com (who provided all the pretty succulents for this shoot!).

There are so many ways they can be incorporated into your wedding. You can use succulents in traditional ways such as in your wedding bouquets, boutonnières and table decorations. They can also be planted in small pots to double as seating cards and wedding favors. The water retaining plant can even be styled in your hair and or secured to your shoes as an accessory!

The even cooler thing about succulents – they can be planted after the wedding to have a green tribute that last well after the wedding day! And remember, head over to Fifty Flowers.com for a great selection of wholesale flowers for your big day. Thanks so much to all the creative artists below (based out of Richmond, VA) for this lovely shoot today!
