Our vision took shape around the remarkable new hotel, The Proper Santa Monica. We knew the setting would be ideal for a couple who is looking for a stunning venue that is attainable and close-by. Overall, we found inspiration during trying times in re-thinking how the wedding might proceed safely. The elements that are familiar—photography, florals, rentals—will be there, but the human connection became the forefront of this shoot. We look forward to brides and grooms who want to be innovative and care about the details.

An A-team of vendors joined hands (figuratively) to play, create, and make some micro wedding magic. Hannah Costello was tapped to capture all the details, so let’s have a look!

Girl Meets Bongga glammed up the bride with soft beachy waves and a metallic eye pop. She wore two dresses from Billy’s Boutique that hinted at a little modern ’80s edge!

Texture was key to any added design element so LB Event Planning brought dimension to the ceremony backdrop with three yarn-wrapped panels outfitted in floral adornments by Best Day Ever Floral Design.

The reception table was a recipe of dreamy tabletop + linens from Greystone Table, Found Rentals, and La Tavola Fine Linens.
