Stylish and Masculine Wedding Dinner Inspiration with the Gay Beards

Attention Gentlemen! Let’s be honest, you guys often get overlooked in the wedding world. We here at GWS say no more!! That’s why we are IN LOVE with this masculine wedding inspiration that’s both beautiful and manly as well as colorful and stylized. Think modern and fashionable menswear, a mauve and rust-tone color palette, and black and leather details. It’s perfect inspiration for a wedding reception, dinner party, or even a fun bachelor party! GATHER Events teamed up with Shira Savada to design this totally rad setup for the guys.

We designed this styled shoot with gorgeous luxury details that two very stylish grooms might have for a wedding dinner or bachelor party. We were delighted to collaborate with Insta’s very own The Gay Beards for this Portland, Oregon inspiration shoot. The aesthetic is modern and pretty with a distinct masculine vein. The color palette was all about the warm earth hues: muted peach and pink, brown and beige, maroon and rust all on a clean white backdrop. The delicate ikebana style blooms on the table and the painted dried plant installations overhead by Color Theory Collective were delightfully free form and fun. We injected a male vibe through the use of clean lines, small pops of black in the flatware and vessels, wood and leather accents and even miniature pheasant feathers.

Having noted a distinct lack of inspirational imagery when it comes to men’s grooming, style and accessories; we really wanted to highlight those design elements as part of this shoot. They too often get overlooked! In our minds, two manicured men with profound beards called for fantastic bridegroom details.

Looking beyond stylish in blush-tone suits and elegant ties from J Hillburn. We love unexpected colors and fun attire for the guys!

Modern Luxury for a Masculine Wedding

Color Theory Collective designed the most beautiful Ikebana-style floral centerpieces and hanging installations made of painted dry greenery. The warm and spicy color palette paired against the white walls of the venue, White Pepper PDX, made for a stylish and modern atmosphere.

Beautiful and contemporary, the tabletop rentals from Archive Rentals set the stage for dinner. We love how they paired delicate glass with the sleek lines of taper candles, concrete vessels and gold and black flatware for those masculine wedding vibes.

Feasting Like Kings

White Pepper PDX provided the catering for the event. GATHER Events had this to say about the amazing food:

It’s well known that Portland is a big ‘foodie’ town, so we showcased some fine local fare with the guidance of White Pepper PDX. The cocktails and oyster shooters were out of this world! White Pepper hosted us in their amazing new space in Portland that’s available for small gatherings and photoshoots!
