Hello, baby!! It probably comes as no surprise to you — but we LOVE baby showers! I mean, any chance to get all your best friends together, create a pretty tablescape, and celebrate? Count us in! Especially when you can do it with such a cool + empowering concept, planned perfectly by Green Apple Event Company. Today’s mama-to-be, Meg, shares: When planning my baby shower, “Stay Wild, My Child” seemed like the perfect theme. I loved how fitting it was and I truly want it to be my motherhood mantra! I want my little girl to have the freedom to be herself, free to be whoever she is, with nothing but love and support from my husband and myself.
Once we landed on the concept, the girls got together and came up with all the fun ideas—millennial pink everything, lots of acrylic, and wild, dried flowers. From there, everyone worked their magic and I was blown away by how it all came together!
Baby on the way? Looking for the perfect party inspo? Your jaw is going to drop over these photos by our gal, Katie Pritchard!

Rose petals were abundant in this pink-hued party. Aren’t the acrylic invitations from Goodheart Design absolutely exquisite?

The Florals

Peachy pinks, pampas grass, daisies and more…

Adrienne of The Bloom of Time is a wizard when it comes to florals. I mean, would you take a look at that pampas grass installation?! Serious WOAH.

The Tablescape

Cucina Enoteca made the perfect backdrop for the shower (along with providing all the delicious bites). We’re digging the bright + cheery chairs that *pop*, along with the pink plates + candlesticks from Found Rentals!

Mustard yellow napkins from Tono and Co, millennial pink hues, gold flatware, and cement candle holders are such a fresh pairing, don’t you think?

Seriously ADORE this tablescape!!

You’re seeing that right — it’s a pressed flower coaster!
The Details

Meg shares: We also created a DIY pressed flower coaster that were so much fun, and added a little boho + wild touch. It was a pretty simple DIY that you could easily recreate!
For this, I bought acrylic pieces, pressed flowers, and spray adhesive. I cut the acrylic sheets into 3.5 x 3.5 inch squares. Sprinkle the pressed flowers on one piece of acrylic, spray adhesive and sandwich another piece of acrylic on top. Easy peasy!

Um, YUM. Cucina Enoteca absolutely killed it with this delicious spread!

The Sweet Treats

Oh, Petals and Pop, how we adore all the magic you make… like this pampas grass backdrop for the dessert table!

Rose petal bark from Kacy Hyder? Don’t mind if we do!

And to top it off, there was a sweet rose petal cake from the fabulous Kacy Hyder. Too cute!
“Cheers to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.”
