Welcome to another edition of Links + Loves! Let’s jump right in…

It’s officially time to settle into the holiday season! Watch all the movies. Eat all the treats. Do all the FaceTimes. We’ve got a few sweet surprises in store for you next week before we launch into our “Best Of” series to wrap up the year. From the most popular wedding to our favorite dresses, there is a lot of good to be remembered!

Here’s what you may have missed on GWS this week: First, we’ve got a guide to setting up your wedding in an open field because here comes 2021 and there are NO RULES. Secondly, if you need a little magic in your life, here’s a fairy tale spin from a kingdom far, far away. And finally, no matter your relationship status at the end of 2020—just married? almost married? engaged?—there’s an ornament of that.

Here are a few things our editors are loving lately:

///

From Jen:

I always want to create a yearly printed book to remember the past year and never have the time (anyone else relate??), well, hoping I can finish over the holiday break this year! I’m using this company and loving all the gorgeous designed covers they offer!

I just discovered this (woman owned) company while online searching for gifts last weekend and super excited to try my make-at-home boba order that just arrived along with this Matcha Latte Tea kit!

Looking for a feel good holiday movie? I really loved Godmothered on Disney+

From Jessi:

I’m always looking for new winter soup recipes. I just made this creamy Italian sausage and tortellini soup and it was delicious!!

Since the sherpa coat trend is going strong for winter, I just snagged this fluffy pink coat for $40! It also comes in black, beige, and blue.

For all my wavy/curly haired girls that struggle with dryness in the winter, this product is my secret to keeping my hair soft and protected from heat + UV!

From Katie:

Every year I bake goodies to hand out to family and even though this year looks a little different, I’ll be mailing my English Toffee instead. Everyone always wants more! And the recipe is pretty simple.

To my Swifties: are you still listening to Willow on repeat? Or just me?

Tenet, Christopher Nolan’s movie, is out on-demand and we watched it from the comfort of the couch. It’s a mind-bender!

From Danielle:

I’m very into trying Martha Stewart’s CBD gummies. This sampler pack is where I’ll start.

Every Christmas, I debate what to wear because I want to be super comfortable…but also cute for any random snaps. I’m getting this patterned, cozy, oversized sweater that’ll be as versatile as it needs to be on Xmas morning!

Also, needed to pick up this winter white turtleneck. You know the kind of yarn that’s so soft it’s like a cloud? That’s what this sweater is made out of.

I’ve been saving up for this for our bathroom remodel. It’s like springtime in a rug!!

If you haven’t experienced a hot chocolate bomb yet, you need to carve out some time ASAP. Don’t use warm weather as an excuse…it’s time to cocoa!

From Britt:

I think of myself pretty highly when it comes to selecting white elephant gifts everyone will love. Last year I wrapped up this cutie (paired with this, this, and this — such a winner). This year I’m gifting this and this together!

If you need a new show to binge, The Flight Attendant on HBO Max has me very, very hooked. Would also like to use this opportunity to remind you (again) to watch Ted Lasso — far and away the best thing I watched in 2020!

Wishing you all the happiness this season from us at GWS!
