Add this one to the bucket list: just a little over an hour from Madrid, in the province of Guadalajara, lies the small town of Brihuega. Every July, the lavender fields in Brihuega bloom in full display, sending a sweet, calming scent into the air. One of the largest international producers of lavender, Brihuega’s 1,000 acres represent 10% of the total world production! This lovely couple, Katerina + Andrey, spent the day in the fields with photographer, Ksenia Bunets, and event planner, Natalia Ortiz. The results are SO pretty – they left us nothing short of awestruck!
Lavender is known to produce feelings of tranquility and peace, so with that in mind, let’s relax, sit back, and enjoy the lovely photos, shall we?

Katerina is a forensic psychologist and Andrey teaches piano lessons to children. Both originally from Russia, they’re currently living and Spain and actually met on a plane! How sweet is that?!

Lavender fields seriously have my heart.. and this couple is to die for!! I take it this is a real Wedding? Gosh!! I can only hope that I’ll be half this beautiful on my own Wedding Day. Love the idea of a small elopement like this.. <3 xoxo
