Designing the Signature Photo Album
First things first, the design process! Once you get your images uploaded to Mpix’s album builder, the process of actually putting together the album is super simple — even fun. They have a LOT of options for page layouts to drag and drop your photos but it’s not overwhelming. It only took about an hour to create! Overall, it was a user-friendly experience and we were excited to see how it looked IRL.
Judge by the Cover
It turns out this wedding photo album looks good IRL. We chose to emboss the cover with the couple’s name, but you could also use a wedding date, the location, etc. You can also choose between different colors for the leather cover but here’s a tip from us: pick a color that matches the aesthetic of the wedding! We went with a darker color to complement the blue hues of the photos inside. The box that the album came in also matched the cover, which is the kind of attention to detail we love.
This is truly a coffee table-worthy book! The pages are thick, archival-quality papers and you can choose from a variety of finishes. We went with the standard finish which feels really nice.
