We’ve been loving all the fall inspiration floating around on the blogs and (of course) Pinterest lately. There’s nothing quite like that red + burnt orange palette to really get you into the spirit of the season. That being said, we don’t feel like fall brides + grooms should feel obligated to stick to that classically autumn color story. As soon as we saw today’s shoot from Two Spoons Photography + Mug of Love Weddings, we realized you truly can have it all this time of year: a cozy feel that fits right into our current holiday state of mind + the wedding colors of your choosing; in this case a unique, jewel-tone palette that seriously couldn’t be prettier.
This editorial evokes the most magical secret garden feel, and the location – James Madison’s Montpelier in Orange, Virginia – and the florals – designed by Whimsical Floral Design – are to thank for that. If you’re looking to infuse your day with a moody, romantic vibe, you’ll want to pay extra close attention to how these guys pulled off such a dreamy setting + tablescape…
That bouquet has some major wow-factor goin’ on! It features so many amazing elements, but the stand-outs are fuchsia garden roses, purple anemones, and burgundy amaranthus.
Seriously, is there even a setting where a BHLDN dress isn’t total perfection?!
The floral adorned gate is one of our most favorite details from the entire editorial.
The tablescape portrayed a beautiful ‘secret garden’ vibe with more gorgeous florals (featuring ranunculus, pomegranates, eucalyptus + more) and a rustic runner made up entirely of moss. Gold accents + mismatched vintage teacups and saucers helped add in a fun sense of whimsy.
We hope this gorgeous shoot helps inspire your wedding vision, no matter the time of year! Big thanks to the talented team of artists below for sharing their work with us today!
