If it’s classic romance you’re after, it certainly isn’t hard to find in a secret garden tucked away on the property of an 18th century Irish Manor. And, in case that doesn’t immediately send you off to daydream land, imagine this: dilapidated stone, cozy cottages, a blooming greenhouse, and foraged florals. Now, ready to see your imagination come to life?? Grace and Saviour designed a dreamy day for an intimate wedding celebration and a bride who finds beauty everywhere she goes. Paula O’Hara Photography gave us some more insight into the days inspiration:
This collaboration was inspired by vintage botanical illustrations from the 18th century. A lot of love went into fully illustrating the abundance of summer season, a celebration of the season in it’s fullness. What better place to celebrate love and life! We fell in love with these mature gardens and their old vintage greenhouse, in particular. It would be the perfect summer venue for a small, intimate gathering. There were hidden pools of gorgeous light in the woods, crumbling old walls, pathways through trailing roses…a wealth of places to create gorgeous wedding portraits.
Time to get lost in the romance of it all!
The Botanical Invitation
A day inspired by botanic prints deserves a dreamy invitation! Lenka Calligraphy certainly delivered with those delicate lines + natural materials.
Foliaged Florals
You know the florals are going to be on point when the theme is secret garden! Petal Studio designed the loveliest bouquets and foraged treasures for the bride to prepare in anticipation of her wedding day.
Swooning over here!!
A Greenhouse Reception
The linens, the chairs, the beeswax candles and fresh figs, not to mention the ultra-romantic setting…is this a fairy tale?
Secret Garden Bridal Style
The bride donned a relaxed gown from Ivory and Pearl with classic Hunter boots and, later, simple white heels.
She’s every bit the vision with thick curls by Lynette Murray Hair and natural makeup by Jennifer Ireland.
Garden of Sweets
Herbs + blooms top the sweet finishes by Cove Cake Design!
Isn’t it utterly divine? All in favor of finding a secret garden in Ireland…? Great, we’ll meet you there! Thanks to the creative team for sharing your lovely collaboration + vision!
