“We have always done things a little unconventionally and we thrive on adventuring and exploring together…” Because of that, it’s no surprise that Samantha + Eddie decided to elope in the most magical fashion — at Coal Mine Canyon in Arizona. Think vast open spaces + stunning views, rarely a soul in sight. When their photographers, Luke + Mallory suggested Coal Mine Canyon, S+E immediately began brainstorming ideas and ways to make it happen.
Samantha shares Since we are inspired by traveling, we wanted our elopement session to capture that part of us. We hiked in full wedding attire to get to the best spots and wandered the canyon, hand in hand. The warm desert tones and romantic sunset was worth every minute! Truly the best decision I have ever made.

Florals were essential for me and I love nothing more than an oversized, messy bouquet with an abundance of greenery and pops of white. Nicole from The Wildflower AZ created the perfect mixture between classic and boho.
Photographers Luke and Mallory have done many road trips in their time. Both being Arizona natives they know lots of hidden gems throughout the desert —Coal Mine Canyon being one of the places.

Our best advice is to do something (whether it be an elopement or wedding) that captures/reflects who you two truly are as a couple. You want to capture real, pure moments and that is best done when you focus on what it's all about: your marriage.
