Martina + Rich met playing beach volleyball—she served on him 10 times but, regardless of embarrassment, he asked her out anyway! They decided to spend their wedding week with a nod to how it all began, only in addition to volleyball they went cliff jumping, snorkeling, rode quads through cliffside towns, and celebrated in marriage overlooking the ancient volcano rim of Santorini. Not bad, right??
Martina gave us the scoop: We wanted to focus on having a small wedding with our closest family and friends. Everyone who was there was very special to us, since all the people there had a influence on us throughout our relationship in one way or another. As for inspiration, the beautiful island of Santorini was inspiring enough! No one from our group had ever been there, so it was fun to explore the island together. We had 27 people total and the wedding week was adventurous, fun, and memorable for everyone.
M+R called up photographer, India Earl, to capture all the magic—let’s have a look!
Can you even believe this view?!
Martina looks every bit the Grecian Goddess!
Gah! Can you imagine this view for your first look?
*stunning*
There are so many memories, but one of our favorites is exchanging vows overlooking the Caldera of Santorini. The sunset was beautiful that evening, as we ate dinner. Another favorite one was taking a boat ride around the island the day before. We stopped at several beaches and saw the island from a different view. It was also Rich’s birthday, so we celebrated together on the boat.

Yay!
Martina’s BHLDN gown is like a painting—SO gorgeous! Also, anyone else getting some Wonder Woman vibes here??!!

Dinner with a view, anyone?
Rocabella Hotel provided the perfect fairy tale venue, design for the day, and catering.
Book your vendors early! As a photographer myself, I had admired India's style for a while on Instagram before we got engaged. We hired her as soon as we decided we were having a small wedding on Santorini. We actually didn't even confirm a place yet, but we knew we were having it in Santorini and we wanted India! Also, don't stress the little details. Having a destination wedding on a magical location, we didn't need to do much with the decor. We added a few simple elements such as lights and succulents and candles, it was perfect.
So incredibly romantic! We’re so happy for Martina + Rich—wishing you more adventure and magic in marriage!

So so beautiful! What a location! <3
Wow these are stunning. Santorini seems to be a popular spot at the moment for weddings. There are a few places around Crete which would make beautiful spots too. Stunning & congratulations
Loved being a part of this wedding, and was so honoured when Martina and Rich chose me to officiate over their romantic vows in such a beautiful location!
Beautiful images & location!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Santorini – it is such a perfect location for weddings! And these details fit in so amazingly well.
