It’s rare to find real, true love that ends in marriage. That’s part of what makes it so special! It’s even rarer to find love with someone who shares your exact same interests. Charo, a fitness studio manager and instructor, met Will Compton, an NFL player and host of the podcast “Bussin’ With The Boys”, and quickly fell in love over their mutual interest in sports and fitness. And before you know it, the two were engaged!
Beautiful Big Sky, Montana was the perfect place for Charo and Will to be married. Its wide-open space, breathtaking mountain range, and crystal waters made the couple feel right at home! Rainbow Ranch Lodge was where the couple said their vows – it had the exact rustic touch they were looking for.
With a little help from professionals like photographer Anna Meyer and the team behind Foxtail Florals, their vision of simply enhancing their surroundings came to life!
We were led by our own style of rustic, ethereal, festive, simple luxury full of earthy tones and intentionality. The goal was to let nature’s beauty speak for itself and to throw the rule book out the window; it’s why we picked our stunning, riverside venue, and also why we took shots of rye together at the altar.
Big Montana Skies
Delicate invites notified guests of the festivities to come. Simple details, like including a rendition of the Spanish Peaks mountain range, set the tone for the wedding. The invites also showed a traditional element – the fact that it was being hosted by the bride’s parents!
Nothing elevates a wedding experience for a bride quite like her girl squad!
A super cute flower crown (and precious earrings!) were the perfect finishing touches to Charo’s stunning bridal look.
Charo’s dress left us SPEECHLESS! Here’s what she had to say about finding her marvelous Gala by Galia Lahav gown:
“My dress was the last one I tried on during my first dress appointment at The Dress Theory Nashville – the stylist saved it for last because she thought I’d love it, which is pretty amazing since even I had no idea what I wanted and gave her no clear direction on style. I put it on, fell in love, but still wanted to try others on later “just to see.” After that, I ended up comparing every other dress to that one, and that’s how I knew. From the beginning, I was pretty certain I wanted a dress by Galia Lahav, and she just ended up being the perfect one for me.”
Will got quite the surprise when he was expecting to see his bride! One of his good friends decided to give him an experience he won’t soon forget by pranking him in a wedding dress. A little humor never hurts to calm down those wedding day nerves!
A Hearty Ceremony
When you’re in a location this beautiful, you let it speak for itself. Simple wooden chairs and a bare aisle allow your eyes to focus on the beautiful scenery and the lovely ceremony arch.
The inspiration for this floral arch was to create something that complemented the landscape while offering color and slightly moody undertones. We would say mission accomplished!
If our friends don’t look at us like this when we walk down the aisle – we don’t want it!

There were a few: exchanging our vows - we wrote our own, and they were a vulnerable, sentimental highlight. We didn't do a first look, so also the moment our eyes met at the top of the aisle. And finally, looking around and acutely noticing all of our people from all walks of life and all over the country together in one place.
Adorable flower girls always know how to give positive energy to weddings! These two cutie pies had the newlyweds grinning from ear to ear.
Delegate tasks - to your fiancé, your mom, your bridesmaids/friends, your planner if you have one, etc. I'm really bad at asking for help, but these people wanted to help, and it took a lot of stress off (and joy in) to invite them in and let them. And hire vendors you really trust. From the moment I met or spoke with so many of our vendors, I knew they would be competent, professional, easy to work with, reliable, and understand our "vision," even if I couldn't always clearly articulate it. Our vendors were one of the biggest reasons we were able to kick back, enjoy, and be fully present on the day of and week of our wedding... so that even if tiny things don't go as planned, it'll still be the best day ever.
You’ve heard of a dress change, but what about a hair change!? Charo rocked a beautiful high pony after she and Will said their vows. It’s flirty, fun, and looks amazing!
They say that true love can be found when you find that you enjoy being with someone while doing absolutely nothing. Will and Charo sitting and enjoying the beauty of the stream with one another on their wedding day gives us those exact sweet vibes!
A Bit of Rustic Charm
It’s no secret that we’re fans of wedding tents! They offer so much versatility to create the exact space and vibe that you want. The draped ceilings give off a sense of elegance while the remainder of the decor felt rustic and fresh.
