Verena + Guy are avid travelers and globetrotters, so it was practically a given that their wedding would take place somewhere exciting + unique. At the time of their engagement, Guy was living in Lebanon + Verena in the US, so they decided the best thing to do would be to pick a place in the middle! They chose AndalucÃa, as Spain was a country they both not visited before and was an area they knew their guests would fall in love with. And as you’ll see in Andreas Holm’s beautiful photos, their venue, Cortijo del Marques, was the perfect place to express their industrial-romantic style and host an unforgettable celebration!
Verena says, We kept the guest list intimate and the day long to maximize the quality time with our family and friends who travelled from all over the world to share the day. The wedding was an eclectic mix of Lebanese, American and Spanish traditions making it the first of its kind for family and friends.
Verena wore a custom dress from Daisy Tarsi Boutique + carried a vibrant bouquet designed by Nerine Arte Floral.
Love the rustic feel of their ceremony site!
Processional: Canon in D – Johann Pachelbel
Recessional: Con te Partiro – Andrea Bocelli
First Dance: Fly me to the Moon - Frank Sinatra
And the industrial reception space was just perfection!
Having our family and friends in the same location just to celebrate our union was priceless. Being able to enjoy and entire day of fun and beauty with them was by far on the top of our favorite memories list, not just for the wedding day, but a special memory in our lives.
Verena says, I had been waiting a long time to ride a horse in my wedding dress, mission accomplished!
-Enjoy the chaos of it all, it will go by fast!
-Your wedding day is all about you so make it yours! Be creative.
-Not everything will go your way on the actual wedding day but don’t let that ruin the moment.
-When budgeting, make a list of your top priorities, it helps. Ours were : the photographer, the venue, and the food.
