What could be better than a gorgeous, rustic anniversary session in Paris? How about one where the couple gets dressed up in some really lovely attire – like an amazing Claire Pettibone dress for starters?! Combine that with the romantic backdrops of the Champs Elysee gardens and the Louvre museum, the incredible talent of Laura Gordon Photography and a couple that is so completely in love and you have the recipe for some serious beauty! Here’s more from Sara of Wedding Sparrow, the planner + designer behind the shoot:
Shannon + Peter have been married a year and Peter is in the US military currently stationed in Germany. They wanted to create some amazing images that they could frame and have in their new German home, so they joined us in Paris for a weekend! Our inspiration was a rustic autumnal feel right in the heart of the city. We had custom made accessories from Enchanted Atelier, custom calligraphy stationery from Sending Heartstrings and the most amazing florals from Bo Boutique…
I know floral crowns are nothing new these days, but this one feels special! There are so many beautiful textures and I love that the florist, Amy, included some really interesting elements, like raspberries!

For the last part of the shoot, Shannon switched things up with some fun, art-deco inspired headbands. Such a pretty look!
