Rustic Camp Elopement Inspiration

We know we’ve mentioned it a time or two (or maybe/probably/definitely more) that we just love a good camp wedding. There’s something about blending the great outdoors with a few personal details and romantic vignettes that seems to make everything feel right in the world. The team behind today’s styled shoot – James & Katie Stokes behind the lens + Et Voilà Events behind the design – chose to utilize the dreamy backdrop of Forest Springs in Westboro, Wisconsin and fill the setting with lots of beautiful, boho design elements.

But there’s a fun twist to this editorial that only makes us love it more! Allison from Et Voilà and her soon-to-be-husband actually modeled for the shoot as well :) These two, set to wed later this year, pretty much killed it in the model department! Let’s have a deeper look at the design…

From Et Voilà, From the fresh floral headdress to the woodsy camp setting, this editorial was a labor of love and was special to us for so many reasons. Our goal was to create a camp styled elopement with a romantic, rustic feel to the details. The warm glow from assorted lanterns, a beautifully designed sweetheart table, draped with lush white pine and seeded eucalyptus, and a sunset canoe ride, followed by gourmet campfire s’mores made for some swoon-worthy photos.

We’re all heart eyes for that bouquet by Fawn Mueller, which popped perfectly against Allison’s ethereal Jenny Yoo gown.

Chelsea from Bella Zenn Salon & Spa gave Allison an enviable knotted braid + a fresh-faced makeup look for the day.
