When Florence & the Machine and Ryn Weaver provide the music backdrop for the day…you know it’s going to produce some groovy photos! Inspired by a darling cabin in the woods, and making the most out of the moody day, the Honestly Workshop hosted by Posh Moments was quite the spectacle.
Aly Barnett captured all the rustic meets bohemian details, and we’re pretty darn smitten. She tells us: This day was wet, cold, and gray, but the beautiful colors absolutely popped. We decided last-minute to shoot in the cabin, rather than the original woods ceremony location just to get away from the rain and mud.
Well, even with all the cloudy grays, they created absolute magic at Carolina County Weddings. Let’s take a look, shall we?
The Details
What a way to incorporate a woodsy element! Cut Above Stationery crafted this invitation suite + we absolutely love the way it was styled with all the brilliant florals.
The Cabin Ceremony
Cuties!! Isn’t she dazzling in that shimmering Meagan Kelly Designs gown?
Those earrings + that Gigi Pip hat! We can’t decide what we love more…perhaps it’s the groom’s floral Minima-Maxima shirt.
The Rustic Reception
When the theme is rustic, why not opt for the backdrops available to you? Like this charming wall of cut wood!
Are those blush hues and gorgeous antique vases from Vintage Chic Rentals Designs + A Bushel & A Peck Vintage Rental are such an elegant touch, don’t you think?
Isn’t that pop of blush from the napkins beautiful? We are digging how it ties in all the roses Vintage Soul Floral Designs lined the table with.
And then there was that cake!! The Wow Factor Cakes created a confectionary delight with a woody layer, along with rustic accoutrements.
Absolutely breathtaking. Thanks so much to the creative team involved in this editorial!
