The consistent theme you’ll see throughout this shoot is about as simple as it is sweet. “Just the two of us” was the mantra that started it all, and never would those words have more meaning than during a romantic + intimate elopement union.
Designed by Tabea Maria-Lisa, along with the photographer, Toldofoto, this stunning editorial takes us on the journey of two lovebirds tying the knot at University of Bern in Switzerland. And, we have to say, the team has got our inspiration flowing! The floral arch, also design by Tabea Maria-Lisa, would be a total dream to read your vows under, and you’re sure to fall in love with the hilltop dinner for two, complete with the most amaze floral runner. Tabea explains, On an elopement two people promise forever to each other just for them – not for everyone else and simply because they want to. To elope mostly means to get married in style, more specifically in the bridal couple’s own style.
Tabea says, This shoot reflects quite perfectly our style and how we work. For Toldofoto, elopements are quite the best kind of wedding with which they can show what they are capable of. It is no secret that photographers and filmmakers get most of the top shot pictures of a wedding during the couple shoot since you have the time to stage everything perfectly and you have to manage only two people. So elopements are perfect since you have no other obligations. For me, elopements are the kinds of wedding where our creativity has no limitations. For us the details are very important because we think that they are the things who make the difference between a good project and an outstanding one. On an «Just the two of us» Elopement, the styling is limited to two people, so we have the resources that in the end everything fits perfectly.
