Ok, raise your hands. Who remembers Zorro? We know a couple of talented gals who do – laceandlikes and Witty Rentals – and we’re pretty in love this romantic, yet edgy, editorial they’ve created. With a rich, dark palette, beautiful textures, and an overall romanticism that just can’t be beat, we’ve officially come to the conclusion that inspiration can be found anywhere, as long as you’re willing to look for it!
Aside from Zorro, the girls flocked to old spaghetti western films, Stone Cold Fox, and Elle + Vogue editorials for inspiration. Oh, and black, black and more black! Tiffany + Chelsea of Witty share, We wanted to incorporate textures and fabrics that embodied the rough and rugged feel of the cowboy era by using leather, cow hides, and lots and lots of bones. The best part of the shoot in our opinion? Although there is such a fun focus on the film and so many unique details incorporated throughout, couples who are drawn to romantic, Spanish-style settings will find so many beautiful + inspiring ideas to integrate into their day. We’re so glad Keith A Savage Photo was there to perfectly capture it all!
I guess you could say it all started with the dress. We found the spanish, romantic, Grace Loves Lace-inspired wedding dress at one of our frequented thrift stores and immediately knew we needed to do a photo shoot around this dress.
Siren Floral Co. totally nailed it with that big floral headpiece + all-white bouquet!
We love the idea of a tequila tasting or fun, Spanish-inspired drinks for a wedding!
Between the furniture pieces from Witty Rentals + the tabletop items from The Hostess Haven, we’re having a total love affair with this tablescape!
Zorro babe alert!
