Rewriting the Stars: Fantastical Wedding Editorial Inspired by The Greatest Showman

The Greatest Showman Wedding Inspired

Ladies and gents this is the moment you’ve been waiting for…” How many of you have seen The Greatest Showman recently, and then subsequently started playing the soundtrack non-stop? There’s a good chance we’ve already listened to it, oh, about 50 times through. We have a feeling we’re not the only ones, especially based on what photographer, Anna Duncan, just sent over! After seeing the film, she kept watching all the behind-the-scenes videos and dancing around to the music, and knew she HAD to create something worthy of the movie. Eeeep!

Inspired by Phillip Carlyle + Anne Wheeler’s romance in the movie (Zac Efron + Zendaya, respectively), today’s editorial is *tied* to their love story. As she’s a trapeze artist, and he’s a circus director — bringing in rope, fun textures, and bright colors was the natural choice.

Ready to be blown away? Ladies and gents, take your seats. The show starts NOW!

A million dreams… coming true with these two! Playing off of Anne Wheeler’s (Zendaya) trapeze act, Angie Johnston designed a backdrop festooned with hanging ropes + florals from Culpepper Designs.

“And the world becomes a fantasy, you’re more than you could ever be… ‘Cause you’re dreaming with your eyes wide open!”

How much fun is that hoop with all the florals?! We could see this serving as a backdrop for a number of events. Want to create something similar for your bridesmaids to carry down the aisle? (Don’t worry, our DIY version is much smaller!)

Bits of pampas grass, anemones, dahlias and more! We’re digging the pinky peach and purple hues that the florist, Culpepper Designs, brought in!

We love a good top hat! The groom’s outfit was inspired by both Hugh Jackman + Zac Efron’s ensembles, with the slight hint of the Victorian era thrown in. Pretty cool, right?

The Dinner Party
