Kicking off Pride Month with the Summer inspiration you’ve been looking for – a modern minimalist wedding theme coupled with vibrant florals, and chic bridal attire. Beth Walker with 36th Street Events transformed The Grand Lady in Austin, TX with red and gold florals and minimalist decor that was full of intention. Brides Alex + Gray wore crisp bridal white that really made the colorful decor palette pop! For this editorial workshop, we wanted to first and foremost celebrate pride! Love is love, and we want to share this through the design of this warm and bright editorial with two brides. For this design, we wanted sleek white paired with pops of bold color incorporated through the backdrop and the floral elements. We wanted to create an ombre floral rainbow in the same color palette. From the cake to the invitation suite to the jewelry detail, it was incorporated to celebrate the brightness of pride paired with the stunning white of the bride’s attire.

We are just in love with this delicate invitation suite from Pink Champagne Designs. It shows off one of the beautiful ways you can incorporate pressed flowers into your wedding day. We also adore those Nicole Mera wedding bands for a touch of sparkle!

Makenzi Laine designed the makeup looks for both brides and we think she nailed those soft, ethereal vibes!
Modern Minimalist Wedding Attire
One of the important themes from the shoot was pairing the bright florals with classic and crisp bridal white.
The Suit Shop formerly the Groomsmen Suit has expanded into the women’s market so we were so excited to use their white women’s suit for one of the brides! The other bride wore a modern chic gown from WAYF. Both brides carried bright ombre bouquets.

Modern Minimalist Wedding Decor
Remi and Gold created floral magic for this workshop! We’re loving all the reflexed roses and hints of ombre rainbows in each design. Plus those orchids in the ceremony backdrop are stunning!
The vendor team chose to keep things simple and minimal at the reception with an acrylic dining table from Strong Events and other furniture rentals from Loot Rentals.
The clear glassware and clean white place settings trimmed in gold are all thanks to Table Manners.
Morgan Pearl Cakes crafted the perfect ethereal wedding cake to round out the modern minimalist wedding theme of the workshop. It’s almost too beautiful to eat!
