Happy Monday everyone! I have such a gorgeous wedding to start the week of today sent over from the talented duo at Paco & Betty. It’s at one of my favorite venues, Nestldown in northern California. With a ceremony among the Redwoods, what’s not to love! And with such a gorgeous location, you don’t need much as far as decor, but I LOVE their 1920’s inspired fashion for the groomsmen and the gorgeous flowers + dresses all the ladies are wearing – especially those pretty succulents in her hair! Big Congrats to Joann + Jon!
LOVE those fun photos of the guys! And how cute is this below? They had these adorable boys dressed up as paper boys delivering programs to all the guests.
The theme for the day wasn’t originally a theme, but sort of a plethora of things we’ve always been drawn to. When everything came all together, it just made sense somehow. We have always been interested in DIY and antique/vintage things, whether it be art, music, or even old ways of doing things like typewriting or handwriting a letter. I guess you could say that our goal wasn’t to do anything that hasn’t been done before, but to try and create a timeless memory by gathering things that have always been inspiring to us.
Most memorable moment of your wedding day? The most memorable moment for us was probably seeing family and friends in one place. Everyone happy, laughing, and just having a good time realizing that something like that is very rare.
Any advice for those planning now? Put yourselves in the places of your guests. Be the guest. Serve food you would want to eat, play music you would want to hear, see things you’ve always wanted to see and make it happen. The most memorable moments aren’t only the things that are supposed to go perfectly, but the little things you do to show what you both are all about to create spontaneity.
LOVE your vendors because we absolutely loved each and every one of them. We made new GREAT friends and recruited our talented family to help carry out our vision. We couldn’t have asked for a better dream team. If you are surrounded with creative and artistic people, let their talents shine with you guys!

I Love this wedding and I LOVE how the bride said it came together. The couple couldn’t be more beautiful together. Her dress, hair and makeup is so beautiful and timeless that when she shows her grandchildren her wedding photos she’ll be taken back to the day and still think she looked beautiful.
