If you pick the right venue, you don’t need to do much as far as decorating – and this wedding shows just that! Wait until you see thr awesome lights hanging from the ceiling! Thanks so much to Melissa from Fresh In Love Photography for sending this one our way!
From Clair, “Mike and I wanted our wedding to be a representation of who we are as a couple. An ideal day to us would be one spent with friends and family, just hanging out and having great food, and we wanted our wedding to be exactly this. We wanted a relaxed atmosphere where our loved ones would feel comfortable, well-fed and free to have a good time! When we came upon Mile High Station, it was love at first sight. We had very minimal decorations because the building has so much beauty, character and history all one it’s own. As for the soundtrack to our day, Mike and I music fanatics, and we spent a good deal of time obsessing over our song selections and cocktail hour music.”
Most memorable moment of your wedding day? Mike and I’s first look was probably my most treasured memory from our wedding day. Every emotion hit me all at once, and I had the tears to prove it! Walking towards him felt like coming home.
Another part of the wedding that I loved was the fact that our friends and family worked so hard to help put everything together. There isn’t one aspect of the wedding that doesn’t have the fingerprint of someone we love in it. The Bride/Father and Groom/Mother dance also meant so much. My dad reminded me that when I was younger, I used to tell him that I would never get married so that I could stay with him forever. Overall, I just loved having all those people we love under one roof, knowing that whether they drove a couple blocks or flew a couple thousand miles, they were there to celebrate with us.
Any advice for those planning now? Weddings run into hiccups and glitches, and mine was no exception, but in the end I married the man I love in front of the people I love. What could be better?
What could be better, right!? Congrats to Clair + Mike!

How cheery and bright and beautiful!!!
Anyone know who designed her wedding dress?
Sarah,
Her dress is from none other than David’s Bridal! So pretty.
Definitely one of my favorite local venues. The light bulb chandelier is very cool in person. Congrats to the bride and groom!
Good set. Perfect colours and atmosphere!
It is so nice to see a Colorado wedding featured. Congrats to the vendors on a wonderful event. I love the cake topper!
such a gorgeous dress! love all the yellow details too!
Love the cake topper. So cute. And the venue is indeed stunning and doesn’t need much work to decorate. And id like to add: the photography is really good. But that’s because I always look at those things :)
Adorable cake topper!
I know everyone else has said it, but that wooden cake topper is too cute!!!
Wow. Gorgeous. Where did they get the “Each day I love you more & more” calendar? I think that would be the perfect paper anniversary gift for my husband….
I love the back of the bride’s gown. So romantic and feminine. The details like the cake topper, the scrabble letters, the vintage typewriter…I love it! Just so clever and cute and sweet. Beautiful job, Newlyweds!
