I heart the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. It’s one of my favorite places and I love featuring weddings there since they always looks so fun, but are yet so different. I love that Allison + Matt didn’t let a little rain ruin their day and wait until you see the portraits Noa of Feather Love Photography captured. Allison’s Temperley London dress it to die for – seriously, I think it’s my new favorite dress. And air plants, yep, they are IN. Big time. Congrats to Allison + Matt!
Love that photo above of Allison + her Dad – love how happy he is!

I love the use of succulents! Absolutely beautiful!!!
The earrings are her grandmother’s that were made to be the exact length between the grandmother’s earlobe and her shoulder. I know cause the bride’s my sister. She’s so pretty AND she got my grandmother’s earrings. (I’m only slightly jealous.) Thank you for featuring their wedding on here! They’ve got crazy style. The photo of my poppa brings tears to my eyes every time!

Outstanding Temperley dress – beautiful and also love the rope installation and use of cacti – inspiring!
Wow, the bride looks fantastic! Would love to know what workout she did to make her arms so amazing. I’d love shoulders like that before my wedding…
Thank you so much for featuring our wedding on your blog. I can’t express how much all the positive comments meant. Matt and I had the most beautiful night and feel honored to share it with green wedding shoes. I love your blog and used it as a resource when planning out my big day.
Lot’s of Love,
Allison
hey alison… if you’re reading! ;) i’m doing something really similar for my wedding (the depression glass vases w/ cactus) and the ikea napkins. if you’re willing to part with either, i’d be happy to buy them from you. i’ve been scouring the flea markets for the vases and have about 30… but would love some more. let me know! ;) -christina
most photogenic bride ever! gorgeous!
Hi Christina P,
I wish I could help you with the glass ware and the napkins, but we gave away all the cacti and glassware as party favors at the end of the night and the napkins came with the Ace. Good luck glass hunting. Something that worked for me was walking into antique shops and telling them what I was doing and a lot of people gave me a few pieces on the house or for very discounted prices. I also made friends with all the vendors at the swap meet and had them put glass aside for me. I collected over 250 pieces by the end, so I am sure you will be able to find some good stuff no problem. Enjoy the hunt! Good luck, I am sure your wedding will be beautiful.
The dress is gorgeous and the photography is really lovely. Some really gorgeous pics of some amazing styling and beautiful emotion.
alison, thanks! wow, 250 pieces! that’s ambitious. thanks for the ideas. ive been just going to swap meets… but antique shops sound like a great idea too. ;)
