When your full-time job is as a wedding planner, you get to know some pretty awesome ladies in the industry. Case in point, today’s darling bride-to-be, Anna, has been a part of A Good Affair for over 6 years, and when it came time to planning her own wedding she planned it like a pro.
Her boss, Natalie, the brains + design head behind today’s GORGEOUS bridal shower shares: As her boss I wanted to do something really special for her because she means so much to me and I wanted her to feel like a super special bride! I chose Monarch Beach Resort’s Club 19 because it is one of our favorite venues that we work with all of the time and the outdoor space was perfect for the design I had in mind.
Anna loves color and I wanted to create something really happy, sophisticated, but also playful (very Anna!) with a palette of tangerine, pinks, yellows, and blues it evoked the perfect vibe. We built a custom installation of balloons down the fireplace for a cool backdrop behind the table design.

Kicking off the bright + bold color palette is this darling floral invitation. Pretty cute, right?
The Balloon Backdrop
And then, there was the EPIC balloon + floral backdrop that A Good Affair created! Nisie’s Enchanted added blooms to the balloons which created even more texture. Dig this look as much as us? We’ve put together this tutorial for a DIY Floral Balloon Arch (that you can make as big or as small as you’d like!).
The Tablescape
How fun are all those bold pops of color with the Sundrop Vintage pressed glasses + napkins? Jewel tones and springtime fresh hues with all the peachy pink florals… talk about luxe!
Nisie’s Enchanted created perfect petite arrangements to top the tables. How we’d love to have these in our home all the time!

The Florals
How darling is this?! Want to create a similar floral letter — in your initials? We’ve got just the DIY for you!
ADORABLE! Pieces from Found Rentals + Classic Party Rentals lined the space to create a glam meets boho lounge.
Natalie shares: Layered rugs brought through our color palette to the floor, something I always like to pay attention to. Layering the design from floor to ceiling creates an effect that gives a much bigger impact for guests when they experience the design.
The Sweet Treats
Elise Cakes knocked it out of the park when it came to all the confectionary delights. Topped with gold, colorful brushstrokes… and even hedgehog pops below!
As for the hedgehogs? Natalie shares: Anna’s spirit animal is a hedgehog, she loves them so much and I wanted to surprise her with a visit from a REAL hedgie! Miss Tiggywinkle was the hit of the shower, so much fun for all the ladies to take photos with her and she made Anna’s day! Hedgehog place cards tied these cuties into the rest of the design and added that playful element I love to incorporate into many of my designs.
So, so cute!! Best wishes to you, Anna, and way to go Natalie of A Good Affair for all the creative design!
