We’re starting off the week with a total bang because Ashley + Matt’s AMAZE pizza, champagne + confetti-inspired wedding is so incredibly fun, we practically dare you to scroll through this feature without smiling the entire time!
Theses two wanted to make their day personal, light-hearted and, most of all, FUN! Their amazing team of vendors, including designer, Jesi Haack, and planner, Love By Lynzie, definitely nailed that vision. Ashley tells us, My favorite color is “glitter”. Translation: we wanted our wedding to have a lot of pizazz. In the end, we had an amazing mix of textures, colors, and an awesome dose of rose gold that totally felt like us.
Big thanks to Tara McMullen Photography for capturing this super fun day and so much congrats to A + M!!
Such a sweet first look, but we’re not only vibing on the cute bride + groom, we’re loving Ashley’s stunning Reem Acra dress, too!
Blush and Bloom killed it with this perfect protea, anemone + amaryllis bouquet!

We love the amazing job that Jesi did with the balloons – she made an indoor venue really POP (so to speak), whether it was the balloon arch at our ceremony, the amazing ceiling installation in the ballroom or the idea that she had to use balloons as place cards!
Processional: Here Comes the Sun + All I want is You – Played live by String Trio
Recessional: Shake it Off – Played live by String Trio
First Dance: It started off with Blue Rodeo’s “Lost Together” and then we went into a medley of fun Canadian artist songs, including Justin Bieber’s “Baby”, Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call me Maybe”, and the Weeknd’s “Can’t feel my face”, where we invited everyone to join us on the dance floor
There was no one moment, it was a compilation of amazing moments strung together when we were with our best friends and our family, being covered in confetti, drinking champagne and eating pizza. It has never been easier for us to respond to the command to “smile”.
Instead of a guest book, we had guests fill out notes to us that we asked our family mail to us throughout the year – it’s such a fun way to keep living out our wedding!
The fun doesn’t stop there! See more in the awesome film below by Brightside Films:
As much as your day is about you as a couple, ultimately, it’s also about the community of people that you surround yourselves with and that come together to celebrate with you. It was important for us to acknowledge the many people in our lives who have helped and will continue to help us throughout the course of our story together.
