Picturesque Wedding Inspiration Against the Canvas of an Artist’s Loft

Artist Studio Wedding Inspiration

Allow us to paint you a picture: a fierce, fearless woman who paints by day in her downtown loft meets a musician who marches to the beat of his own drummer. Naturally, they fall in love. They come together in marriage with the help of close friends, fancy (yet oh-so unpretentious) cocktails, and their own creative design instincts, weaved like a tapestry between love and art. Okay…perhaps we’re drifting off with the whimsy of it all, but we can’t help but imagine what was on the minds of the team behind today’s artsy wedding inspiration! With design + florals by One & Supp and planning by Brita Olsen Creative, the day certainly came together in exquisite taste. Photographer, Emily Delamater, gave us a few details behind the inspiration:

The overall look of this wedding was inspired by images of turn-of-the-century artist studios, the romance and bounty of fall, the merging of historic spaces and distinctly modern taste, and the work of wildly talented friends and makers in our community. We wanted to illustrate a modern bride who is a sexy, confident, and discerning host; a woman who commands the space around her.

Let’s have a look at the artists’ gallery by Emily Delamater Photography! Love!

LOVE the juxtaposition of this table: a drop cloth for a tablecloth and vintage chairs, come together with a romantic table setting and brass candelabras. Simply YES.
