In the past we’ve shared both sweet picnic engagement photos + lovely canoe engagement photos, but this is a first – a picnic on a canoe! :) Sophia + Pat’s charming engagement session, captured by Joey Kennedy, took place just a few blocks from their home in Lawrenceville (Pittsburgh) PA. Complete with wine, pie , and jar full of freshly-cut flowers, this shoot evokes such an adventurous + playful vibe! I’ll let Sophia share more about why they chose this setting for their shoot:
The locations really capture what we love about the landscape of Pittsburgh – the gritty, urban, post-industrial side, and the serenity of the three rivers. Our canoe lets us escape life’s distractions + stresses, and float away, just the two of us, together. That’s the feeling we wanted to capture.
