Today’s gorgeous wedding is from the Fall issue of Martha Stewart Weddings available today! These two creative (Lawren is a fashion stylist + Jesse is a drummer) cuties were married in Paso Robles, at Willow Creek Farm — which is next door to the Jesse’s childhood home. Lawren + Jesse created a beautiful southern picnic wedding with lots of vintage elements. They really wanted their guests to be relaxed and comfortable – and above all, to have a blast. My kind of wedding. :) Congrats to Lawren + Jesse and thanks so much to Shira at Martha Stewart Weddings for letting me share a peak into their wedding today!
I’m totally obsessed with the bridesmaid dresses – and I wouldn’t expect anything less from a stylist as the bride! Did I mention she works on Mad Men too?! The dresses are all vintage and Lawren is wearing a Monique Lhuillier gown.
Jesse’s bandmate Will Etling designed the folk-art-inspired paper details. Just love how the invitation really set the tone for the day.
Yep, Lawren is not only Christina Hendricks stylist, but also good friends with her. Love her picnicky attire for the day – and mint juleps for the cocktails!
How sweet is the heart-shaped dinner bell?! They enjoyed home-style foods for dinner, including fried pickles, mini root-beer floats, and bite-size chicken and waffles.
Fresh pies were displayed in vintage refrigerators (love that idea!) and Lawren collected the little birds for her cake.
Such a perfect rustic wedding to head into the holiday weekend! You can see more from the day online here and in the Fall issue of Martha Stewart Weddings on newsstands today! Perfect for some pooltime reading this weekend. :)

What a beautiful wedding!
got my mag last night and pretty much stared at this wedding over and over again!
Their cake and invites are great!!! I can’t believe how many nice weddings are in here! Susan Cernek (CUP of JO’s Joanna Goddard’s bud) is in this issue too!
I think I may have to go buy a copy!
I had to do a double take when I read the first couple lines of this post. I just got married this past weekend on my family farm. I am Lauren and my husband is Jesse. Such a gorgeous wedding this Lawren and Jesse had as well. And even though our special day is over, I will continue to be a faithful reader of this blog. Green wedding shoes confession: I sported a pair of green shoes under my dress. They were my “something old” as they are also the green flats I slip on every St. Patty’s Day. :) Thanks for providing me with lots of inspiration during our wedding planning year. We have kept a modest, little blog this past year and just posted a few pics up from this past weekend, and am hoping to post a few more once our AMAZING photographer shares her photos with us.
Love it! It’s Upscale elegance meets downhome country with a big kiss of California beautiful!
The cake is just amazing but so are those invites!! Can I ask who designed them? Thanks for posting this beautiful wedding!!
I love the invitation! Who made it?
