Have you heard the news? Pantone’s color of the year for 2022 is Very Peri! Not only is it a visually appealing color, but its significance for the times we’re living in is also huge. It’s no secret that COVID has upended all of our lives, but things are starting to look up. With the help of vaccines and better testing, we’re able to see our friends, leave our homes, and even…plan our weddings!
When describing Pantone’s color of the year 2022 the brand says, “Very Peri helps us to embrace this altered landscape of possibilities, opening us up to a new vision as we rewrite our lives. Rekindling gratitude for some of the qualities that blue represents complemented by a new perspective that resonates today, PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri places the future ahead in a new light.” With 2022 slated to become the year with the most weddings on record since 1984, Very Peri is the perfect representation of hope and renewal for couples getting married.
Now, let’s talk wedding inspo! Very Peri is no doubt a gorgeous color, but how can you incorporate it into your 2022 wedding? We’ve got the answer! Epoch Co+ teamed up with Light as Gold to create this shoot with Pantone’s Color of the Year 2022 written all over it. Lush saffron was used as the complementary color to Very Peri, and the results were even more amazing than you’re expecting.
Pantone Color of the Year 2022 | Very Peri
We’re starting things off strong! Before figuring out the best time to send wedding invitations, you’ll want to spend some time designing a color scheme that reflects you and your relationship. These glowing invites by Fine Day Press prominently feature Very Peri – what we now know to be the perfect symbol of a hopeful and joyous wedding to come.
When in doubt, glitter it out! This shimmering stunner by Alena Leena Bridal is the perfect gown to keep all eyes on the bride.
It’s no surprise that we’re fans of *ahem* colorful wedding shoes. While we may typically be biased towards a different shade, Pantone’s color of the year 2022 looks undeniably pretty as a pair of purple wedding shoes!
Stained Glass Dreams
Very Peri wasn’t the only source of inspo for this wedding. It was also heavily influenced by the venue itself! Camino Real Ranch in Dale, Texas has some crazy cool architecture. Couldn’t you imagine stained glass over these windows?!
That stained glass vision is what was used to imagine this super cool ceremony backdrop. Not to mention – it’s also completely handmade!
Truth and Blooms designed these stellar floral arrangements to line the ceremony aisle. They’re the perfect delicate way to incorporate Pantone’s Color of the Year 2022 into your wedding!
Everything looks so beautiful when all tied together!
A Very Peri Party
An eclectic bar makes every wedding a little more fun! Each detail was thoughtfully curated with maximum chicness in mind. An acrylic cake stand filled with florals and a bar cart with the cutest glassware from Anthropologie made a true statement.
THIS. CAKE. IS. AMAZING! Feathers and Frosting designed this beauty to look like a terracotta pot. Mission accomplished!
The ranch’s exotic desert background was the perfect contrast to the glittery and colorful aesthetic of the wedding’s decor.
We’re loving this intimate table setting! Not only is the Pantone Color of the Year 2022 prominently featured – it’s also giving us major inspo for how to seat the newlyweds.
A subtle change from black to gold chairs (with no one sitting across!) is a great way to be able to sit with your guests and retain a feeling of intimacy.
The color blocking theme from the wedding invitations has circled back around in the form of these beautiful place settings. Those Very Peri napkins are the cutest little touch!
Don’t forget the candles! Colorful candlesticks are such a fun way to highlight your wedding’s theme, and this color combo is one to remember.
It wouldn’t be an Austin wedding without a hint of “keeping it weird”! These welcome bags filled with local goodies were perfectly curated to match the wedding’s vibe.
There you have it! Pantone’s Color of the Year 2022 is here, and we couldn’t be more excited! How do you plan on using Very Peri in your wedding? Let us know!
