“Over The Moon” Inspired Wedding on #NationalMoonDay!

Did you know that today is #NationalMoonDay?! That’s right, 48 years ago today, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin made that giant leap for mankind and today we’re celebrating with some wedding inspiration that will take you to the moon and back! (We may also sneak in a Moon Pie later, just for fun!)

This shoot was designed by Jessica Lauren Events high in Malibu’s breathtaking hills at Malibu Rocky Oaks (also featured in our Top 26 Coolest Places to Get Married). S’mores at sunset, bright florals, and and romantic hanging crystals were the main elements, and the afternoon’s crescent moon centerpiece made from flowers and greenery is pure magic!

Sanaz Photography captured the sweet couple at dusk, along with all the dreamy details!

The bride carried a dazzling bouquet of yellow blooms by Foxtail Florals, reminiscent of the night sky.

The girls at Swell Beauty gave the ladies soft curls and stand-out make-up, while the ‘maids look downright ethereal in gowns by Joanna August!

Foxtail Florals 100% outdid themselves with this crescent moon ceremony backdrop!! And the way the light is shining through at dusk?! JAW DROP moment.

Malibu Rocky Oaks is a winery by day, with views that speak for themselves. Perfect reception area!
