If you’re a loyal GWS reader, you’re most likely a fan of boho style, weddings, boho weddings, and (yep) boho wedding dresses. It’s kind of our language around here, and we just happen to believe we’ve got a bit of expertise on the subject(s). Our friends at Maggie Sottero kindly recognized this and gave us the opportunity to style + shoot four of our favorite boho wedding dresses from their collection!!
Of COURSE, we jumped at the chance. Maggie Sottero is known for excellence in design and product. The family-owned design house is all about leaving a legacy with their romantic gowns at attainable price points. We’re spotlighting four gowns that we think are perfect for a rustic or boho wedding day.
We met up with Wild Whim Photography on a dreamy California day to capture the dresses in action. Which one will you love? Let’s have a look!
Long-Sleeved Lace Beauty: The Madilyn Wedding Dress
Meet Madilyn! There’s just something about long sleeves and beaded lace. And we love the full illusion top that sits barely off the shoulder.
The best way to amp up the boho style is in the accessories! Our bride carried a bouquet of dried florals and sported tassel earrings topped off with a classic white hat.
That chiffon skirt! Love the way this moves!
Rustic Romance: The Maureen Gown
OKAY, Maureen!
What a fit. The combination of that plunging neckline straight into an A-line tulle skirt is MAGIC.
And we are loving a bit of a statement earring with these gorgeous Shop Moss floral + tassel earrings!
Tulle isn’t just for ballgowns — it drapes beautifully behind the bride for a unique texture we’re wild about.
Boho Princess for a Day: The Tate Dress
But speaking of ballgowns…our pick is the Tate gown! We actually LOVE a full skirt for the boho bride.
Juxtapose the classic shape with a dreamy rustic background to capture that bohemian essence.
Loving the subtle details on this skirt!
A Cascade of Florals: The Raelynn Wedding Gown
Finally, meet the Raelynn dress! The banding creates a super flattering waistline before cascading into that floral-dotted skirt.
A loose boho braid and statement earrings pair so well with this dress!
All four of the Maggie Sottero dresses come in sizes 0-28 and can be found in stores around the world. Thanks to Maggie Sottero and to our dream team for bringing these dresses to life!
