It’s no secret that here at GWS we loooove a good boho moment. Boho weddings, boho dresses – so it’s a surprise to NO ONE that we are talking all about our favorite boho bedroom decor and how you can steal this look yourself too. Bring on the baskets, macrame, and plants galore!
The first room we are loving is the one above by Black and Blooms – which is actually part-office, part-guest room! Boho decor always includes lots of textures like woven baskets to store extra blankets, little hanging plant babies and the soft, knotted curtains killlll us! It’s bright, cozy and airy.
Bohemian style also isn’t limited by tons of plants – cast in point; @restyleart‘s retro boho bedroom, which we are quite literally obsessed with. The giant rug makes the perfect statement piece, while the half painted walls add a bit of retro flare into the space. And are you a fan of the gorgeous art too? He sells them. Make sure to check out his shop Jans Skacelik.
Boho on a Budget
Want that boho look for less? Be sure to check out A Taste of Koko‘s makeover which she did for under $600! Our eyes can hardly believe it! She is truly living that boho life on a budget with just a few small nods to this design obsession of ours and we are here for it. Check out her full post on how to design a space like this for less!
The buzz word everyone is loving when it comes to room design: Jungalow! This space by @___duundich__ is both colorful and vintage boho. There’s so much eye candy that we aren’t even sure where to start! But really – let’s start with the amazing retro rug which just fits in so nicely with her vibrantly colored wall. A statement we love! Another boho must-have item is hanging woven baskets or bowls on the wall. Super simple idea; maximum impact!

Modern Farmhouse Bohemian
We weren’t even sure how modern farmhouse and bohemian would (or could) go together but look no further than @lillys_pack‘s bedroom. The bed frame is a classic farmhouse touch that is super vintage but modern – however, throw in a woven basket and some plants on a shelf and you’ve just upgraded to a boho bedroom!
Boho 70’s Inspired Bedroom
We’re letting Emily Henderson take all the credit for this amazing mashup of style (we bow down!). And the best part of this bedroom? A LOT of it is from Target. That’s right Target Fanatics, it’s affordable and you can have it delivered straight to your door! Find out how she designed this room here and shop our favorite pieces so you can get the look too!

Ladies! Not all bohemian decor must be gender-neutral colors. We are loving the soft and romantic vibes @astoldbymichelle has added to her space! The pincushion-style duvet adds a bit of femininity to her room and the flower wall gives it some intrigue too! Plus, all the plants really tie the space together too. WE’RE IN LOVE!
A bedroom should DEFINITELY feel cozy and this bedroom from Erica does a P-R-E-T-T-Y amazing job of that! We love the mix of textures and pillows and that cute LOVE neon sign! If you are looking for an easy way to bring boho vibes into your bedroom, pillows and tassels and textures are such a great way to do this!
Moroccan Inspired Boho Vibes
Just a little bit of paint design on a wall can really make a statement. And we are loving this one done by @tatjanas_world_. She painted a circle on the wall to act as a headboard to her room – so clever! Add a fun Moroccan lamp above the bed, cool Moroccan inspired piece above your pillow and a pattern crazy rug and you’re set!
Boho Scandinavian Room
Let’s talk about this bed frame that My Scandinavian Home used in her space. It is the ultimate bohemian design piece and really makes your jaw drop! The addition of the gorgeous tassel blanket on the bed makes our head spin too – so obsessed!
Boho Urban Loft
Remember this Modern Urban Jungle Loft in Atlanta we featured in October of 2017? We’re still into it. The statement here is really that amazing gallery wall. This couple started collecting their own photos, artworks, sculptures, and prints to use in the space and really adds to the drama of the room. Just add a plant, cool vintage rug and a wooden bed frame and you’re on your way to bohemian dreams!
So there you have it – our favorite bohemian bedrooms trends we’re loving. We hope this was helpful on your journey to create a space at home that you feel happy in. Let us know if you loved any in particular!
