Today’s lovely shoot comes from a super talented team of vendors from Cape Town, South Africa! They get together annually to produce what they call The Secret Shoot — where all the details + locations of the shoot are kept totally + completely under-wraps until it’s featured. This year it was all about the color gold. They wanted to create two distinctive environments, each depicting a different facet of this fun + versatile color, which just so happens to be one of my faves!
The first setting shares the more light-hearted + playful side of gold — with pinwheels, cupcakes + a pretty gold chaise lounge. And seriously, how cute is that golden piñata?!

The second location portrays the more decadent, totally romantic side of gold. It is set in a secluded pine forest with tons of glam details, like the shiny gold vessels, the plush French armchairs and a tiered pink + gold wedding dress — such a fun juxtaposition of styles.
