Oh-So Seventies! Earthy Moroccan-Inspired Wedding Inspiration

Moroccan Love Wedding Inspiration

Do you have an affinity for the ‘70s? What about all things Moroccan-inspired? Perhaps you have a penchant for desert plants + neutral color palettes? If you nodded your head to any of the above, we have a *feeling* you’re going to fall absolutely head over heels for today’s editorial, designed by Jenelle Jamani!

The original inspiration stemmed from the couple’s recent 3-week trip to Morocco. Laura + Andrew traveled throughout the country in a little rental car was a trip full of adventure — some planned and others that just happened… including getting said rental car stuck in the sand in the middle of the night, in the desert! Throughout their trip they collected rugs, tapestries, ceramics and the iconic camel leather Moroccan poof — many of which were featured in this styled shoot!

Prepare to be swept away by all the magic + romance, captured so perfectly by Jill Coursen Photography!

Hello, floral mandala! Doesn’t this space, with pieces from Special Event Rentals, look like a place you could hang out in for days?

The Lounge

Jill Coursen Photography shares: The inspiration behind the day was everything authentically Moroccan. The neutral colors that mirror the desert landscapes and cobblestoned streets, the geometric patterning of ancient mosques and the array of tapestries on display within the hustle and bustle of the Souks (markets).

We included mint tea, pistachio and honey infused sweets and the aromas of rose filled the air. The décor was focus on a variety of textures with the handmade floral mandala taking center stage as the focal point of the shoot.

Oh and those delicious sweet treats? They’re from Whisk Dessert Co!
