Jaime + Daniel aren’t your typical couple…can you tell?! These two wanted a wedding so unique that they ended up switching from one wedding planner to another. One who really really understood the vibe they were going for: colorful + creative! J + D live in New York City, but they travelled a bit south for the wedding—a colorful city where the palm trees grow freely. The Creative’s Loft gave us the scoop on the day:
They wanted to bring the vibe of Brooklyn to the city and get married in a cool warehouse. They chose MAPS studio in Miami to celebrate, a white canvas where magic can happen for a creative mind. We designed a colorful geometrical pattern of cyan, magenta, and yellow to be applied in different areas. From an XL runner going up the wall and down the floor, to a gorgeous reception dinner with multicolor metallic chairs and flowers!
Matt Rice captured all the fun! Welcome to Miami…and Jaime + Danielle’s wedding!
Black Lamb Studio created a whole lot of fun for one envelope! How great is this suite?
This bowtie from Tie Bar is so fun!
Primrose Floral + Event Design was totally on board with the bright color pops in the florals!
The Light + Bright Ceremony
WOW you guys, this geometric install! So fun! And Chrome Event Furnishing helped design that unique circular seating layout, making way for the bride to walk down the aisle as “Past Lives” by BØRNS came from the speakers…
So beautiful!
The Colorful Reception
Even better at night, right?!
Those chairs are SO perfect.
The Creative’s Loft understands the challenges of planning a truly outside-the-box wedding. Here’s their advice to help you see those unique ideas through:
Our advice for those creative brides out there is to BE YOURSELVES as a couple! Do not be scared to bring up ideas that make the day true to you. In addition, make sure that the planner you choose really understands you. This involves thinking outside the box, bringing new and creative ideas to the table, and knowing how to apply a wedding theme. Also, find out in advance if your venue allows you to produce installations! It’s very important to establish a very clear communication. To finish, personalize your day with things that speak to who you are. If you’re music lovers, hire a cool band for the day. If you’re foodies, surprise your people with yummy food stations, etc.!
Simply Sweets Miami with the win! Look at that cake!
SO fun! Who else is loving the color?? All our congrats to J + D on your day! Wishing you colorful adventures for a lifetime!
