Kate + Nasa wed on Waihi Beach in the Bay of Plenty in New Zealand! They wanted a relaxed wedding to reflect their artistic bohemian lifestyle. Nasa is an esteemed tattoo artist and Harley Davidson fanatic, so a cookie cutter wedding just wouldn’t do. The couple chose a 1960s/70s theme and asked their guests to dress up as if they were heading to Woodstock! Love it. Kate appointed her maid of honor (Shaye from On My Hand) in charge of styling, props, flowers and the cake – which was tattoo influenced with skulls and red roses. Guests dined on little bites of Latin inspired food as the groom is from Brazil and partied the night away to a 70s style band.

I have a couple. While getting ready with my closest girlfriends, I ended up asking one of my friends who was helping set up the wedding about 10 minutes before the ceremony if she would join the bridal party! Lucky her dress fit in with everyone else’s! Another special memory of the day was dancing with everyone and knowing that all of our friends were there with us celebrating our love with us.
Love that Kate mixed it up by wearing a brown dress while her bridesmaids wore white!
