I would SO love to attend a fun camp wedding – and Andrea + Chuck’s wedding looks like so much fun! Their wedding was a big celebration of love, something relaxed that wasn’t too formal, and most of all FUN! They found the perfect location at a camp in upstate New York that they completely took over. The perfect place where all their friends + family could take a long weekend (Labor Day weekend) to relax and spend time with each other. Both Andrea + Chuck are artists (as are many of their friends) so it was the perfect weekend surrounded by their friends who helped make every element for their wedding – including the amazing bridesmaids dresses that one of Andrea’s friends dyed the most perfect colors! Big congrats to Andrea + Chuck and thanks so much to Matt with Our Labor Of Love for the gorgeous photos!
Walking through the woods and taking photos before the ceremony. Because we were so "hands on" leading up to the wedding it was the first chance we had to take a minute and be alone with each other. Matt our photographer did such an amazing job of making us feel relaxed.

Don't be afraid to do something unconventional if it reflects your personality. Make the day what you want it to be and don't worry about trying to please everyone.

Hi Sandy, The wedding took place at Baker Camp – http://www.bakercamp.com/
Hi Sandy,
I’m not sure if you have already contacted the camp about your upcoming wedding. I am having issues with them. That is the reason I didnt list the venue. I can answer any questions about them if you like, but dont book there!

Hello-
Sarah here from the previous comment six months ago.
We went on a venue visit of Baker Camp in June, and then went back again to stay, and had a great time. It was everything we were looking for in a venue. We planned on having our wedding there next summer, and asked her to hold a date for us until we signed a contract.
She told me the bride in this post was disorganized and doing everything last minute and that’s why she was unhappy with them. We believed them.
We then spent almost three months trying to get the owner to give us a menu so we could estimate a price and move forward to signing a contract. I would have to call and leave message and email and voicemail after voicemail. When we finally got in touch, she would promise to figure things out. Finally, a month after she promised to drop the menu options and price estimates in the mail, and after weeks of calling her to follow up about not receiving anything, we gave up. It’s not been almost three months since we gave up and we STILL have not heard one peep from her. I would be extremely wary of booking here.
I had my wedding in June 2013 at Baker Camp and had a fantastic experience all across the board!
Hi Andrea! Your wedding looks stunning – my fiancé and I are curious about the details on your invitations. We’re trying to plan a long weekend/camping wedding and seeing how you broke down the three days would be so helpful!
Thanks, :)
Tal
Hi Andrea!
Your wedding looks so relaxed and beautiful. It is exactly the kind of thing my fiancé are looking for. Would you mind sharing some of the issues that you came across as I am meeting with this venue in the coming weeks.
Whatever issues you did have, it sure looks like you still had a wonderful weekend.
I left the above comment. If you wouldn’t mind sharing, let’s chat at [email protected]. :)

Well of course I love everything about this, but the bridesmaid’s dresses are particularly stunning!
Loved the colors and decor! I’m thinking of having my wedding here. How was the food? Did most of your guests sleep in the cabins?
Andrea,
I love your wedding! I actually went to visit the camp this past weekend and my fiancé and fell in love with the location. I read the old reviews regarding the camp staff and issues with the food and getting menus. Is there any way you can email me about your experience?
