“Pop, bubble + fizz” was the fun mantra behind today’s playful styled shoot, which provides the perfect inspiration for a New Year’s Eve cocktail party! Conceptualized + styled by Danielle of Francine Ribeau Events, this bold + spirited editorial is filled with the prettiest of details that are not only great for NYE, but could also work perfectly for a bridal shower or bachelorette party!
From Danielle, Imagine a New Year’s Eve with just the girls…You just splurged on that new bright lipstick you’ve had your eye on and that gold bottle of champagne that’s been calling your name. As you’re listening to Frank Sinatra and dressing yourself and your downtown apartment to the nines, the doorbell rings. After the oohs and ahhs of who’s wearing what and what IS that amazing smell, the libations flow, the eats are served and pop goes the bottle.
The inspiration for this glamorous New Year’s Eve cocktail party was a little prep and a lot of glam – Kate Spade meets Juicy Couture. We used a mix of hot pink and rich fuchsia, black and white stripes and plenty of gold. We wanted to create a girly, dramatic and bright cocktail party of stylish bachelorettes out for tapas and champagne.
Get ready to swoon over all the sparkly goodness captured by Melissa Biador Photography…
The table runners were a fun DIY project [and you can see how to make them here] and we placed them over the black and white striped lines from UltraPom Rentals.
And the super pretty manicure was provided by Lush Wax Boutique. New Year’s Eve is the perfect time to try a bolder look that you’ve been a bit too timid to try, like that intense red lip or fun nails like these!
Super in love with this textural floral crown by Penny Blooms Floral Design!

Fabulous. Black and White are super hot as a party theme for 2014 and pairing it with gold and splashes of fuchsia is a great combination. I love the “sparkler” bar. Great inspiration here for a really cool party.
I adore all the gold!
