First thing’s first: the bride wore NAVY! But let’s not stop there: the groom wore sequins, the room was transformed with paintings + texture, and through every detail, a unique love story unfolded. It’s an elopement imagined for the modern couple…and did we mention the bride wore navy? Speaking to that very aspect, the dress designer Sheila of Incandescent Bridal, shared her motivation for the day’s vision:
The inspiration behind this shoot were the moments that make up a story. Art and books and dancing and laughter—all tangled up into one beautiful mosaic. The idea that a modern wedding can be whatever you want it to be, not what you’re told it should be! That your wedding can authentically encompass everything your romance embodies. And a reminder that your love is unique, incandescent, and grand!
Let’s have a look at all those special moments that made up the mosaic, captured by Shannon Rosan!
We love a good modern invitation! This one by Natalie Perez is spot on.
