Happy Friday, Lovelies! We have a super fun treat to share with you today to gear up for the weekend: a few photos from a gorgeous, nautical-inspired wedding from the pages of the current issue of Martha Stewart Weddings! Both avid sailors, Gillian + William hosted their waterfront, Summer wedding at Gillian’s parent’s home in coastal Connecticut. So many playful, maritime details were included into this beautiful celebration – like the welcome bags filled with “Sailor’s goodies” + the engraved ship’s bell the newlyweds rang together. And a bout of bad weather couldn’t ruin things for this sweet couple; they went with the flow to accommodate the conditions and Gillian wore fun wellies down the aisle, which I just love!
I adore this charming treat cart, which was packed with ice cream sandwiches made by the bride’s sister + maid of honor – a professional pastry chef!
Guests were served mini lobster rolls, tuna tartare, crab cakes, and shucked oysters to pay tribute to the coastal setting.
Be sure to pick up the latest issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, on newsstands now. It’s filled with lots of amazing ideas for you to be inspired by and incorporate into your own celebration!

Gorgeous, absolutely love this- so unique.
Love the breazy relaxed feel of the shoot and the boots!
That’s so stylish and smart! For me–as an Italian wedding planner–this wedding is a great source of inspiration, as we have several lakes and coastal locations. Thank you for giving me so many prodigious ideas :)
Absolutely stunning!
Hi, loving the nautical cookie idea. I would like to include them in my welcome bags.
How can I order them?
