They say the stars align when you meet the one and what better way to capture that than the eclectic and modern elopement editorial at Ruby Street in Los Angeles? Focusing on the idea of “Across the Universe,” the overall theme incorporated the dark moodiness of the cosmos, as well as explosions of copper, and brilliant bold pops of color.
Nothing says romance like getting married under the stars, and designer, Eventive Moments, crafted all the details to give the illusion of a starry night sky.

The Details
Expertly fashioned by Mason Alley Calligraphy, they combined an embossed copper sheet with dark purple envelopes to nail this dark + moody invitation suite.
Beaded BEAUTIES! These elegant, yet fun heels are from Badgley Mischka.

ALL THE FRINGE!! The best part? This whimsical accent could be displayed in your home after the big day.

The Ceremony Space
And then, there was this DREAMY backdrop.
The backdrop was created with acrylic sheets + then etched with elegant calligraphy. Well done, Mason Alley Calligraphy!
The Moody Tablescape
YES to all that greenery Eventive Moments brought in to contrast the edgy tablescape.
Ghost chairs + gilded elements! MTB Event Rentals decked the table out with metallic elements to really add a luxe touch.

How neat is this abstract geometric piece hanging off the table?!
Trying something innovative and fun, Sweet Novelette was inspired by impressions of meteorites to make futuristic galaxy chocolates… which were then used as the table settings main centerpieces decor instead of flowers!
The Decadent Delights
Sweet Novelette designed a chocolate lover’s dream by beautifully displaying these decorative edibles on small gold dessert stands. Even the meteorite shaped escort card holders were made out of pure chocolate!
Switching things up for a more colorful pop, the groom changed into a turquoise suit jacket from ASOS.
No wedding is complete without a celebratory toast!
