The Carondelet House is a new Los Angeles venue that’s totally perfect for a couple looking for an intimate loft style wedding. To showcase the venue (and help give couples lots of pretty eye candy for what their wedding could look!), Sterling Social designed this gorgeous styled shoot. Perfect for couples looking for a romantic + modern wedding, the shoot features a sleek + sophisticated cocktail party – and then a surprise candlelight ceremony after. The “loft” environment of exposed brick walls, large archways and tree-enclosed courtyards from Carondelet House is just perfect. It totally appeals to the modern bride, but with a non-traditional twist! Leila from Be Inspired PR put together a super talented team including gorgeous photos by This Modern Romance. So, for all my modern loving brides + groom, I hope you are inspired…
Such a gorgeous wedding dress by Kirstie Kelly Couture and hairpiece by Erica Elizabeth Designs!
Guests arrived for an intimate cocktail-style celebration in the central courtyard of the “loft”. Set with eclectic lounge vignettes of Florence Knoll and Eames furnishings, guests mingled in an artistically styled environment.
The champagne is from One Hope Wine. I love that when you purchase One Hope Wine, half the profits go to one of their many charities they support! Such a great company to support.
Guests were then invited indoors for a candlelit surprise ceremony! Set with lounge-style seating, the romantic ceremony has a dramatic aisle runner with hand-written with vows by Laura Hooper Calligraphy. Intimate groupings of benches and loveseats are mixed with side tables on either side of the aisle. For ultimate comfort, the seating vignettes are detailed with pillows and throws and side tables are adorned with collections of succulent arrangements.
And a pretty dessert table from Cupcakes Couture with florals by The Hidden Garden
